Dear Editor,
My name is Manuel F. van Eyck and I have been for many years investigating American aircraft shot down over the occupied Czechoslovakia during the World War II. One of the pilot lost was: 2ndLt Ralph I. Jones killed in the air combat on August 28, 1944, 308th Fighter Squadron, 31st Fighter Group
His family was originally from Conneautville, Pa., as of 1944, but later his parents moved to Westfield, N.Y. Their name is:
Father Henry Fisher Jones
Mother Frances E. Jones
East Main Road
Westfield, New York
Perhaps if you could print my request someone might knows or have information or photograph of above killed pilot.
My address is
Manuel Frank van Eyck

Most certainly they are not alive, but perhaps there is relative of theirs in that area. I am seeking photograph of 2nd Lt Ralph I. Jones to include in my publication.
I thank you for any information.
Sincerely
