My family and I would like to extend a sincere thank you to the members of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 118 of Westfield and to the Women of the Moose Chapter 517 for their heart-felt labor organizing a fundraiser held for me on January 7 at the lodge. We would like to especially thank our friend, Philip "Hucky" Cowan for thinking of us in our time of need and getting this event off the ground. My wife and I both suffered heart attacks this past year and mine resulted in quadruple bypass surgery, and a mitral valve repair.
After spending Thanksgiving in the hospital for surgery, both of us have not been able to return to our jobs while in recuperation from such a major surgery. This event has helped us immensely with the financial burdens that arise from sudden health issues. We would like to thank all the donors who helped create a largely successful auction of local goods and services, especially our family, friends and co-workers in the Westfield, Mayville, Jamestown and Dunkirk areas. You all helped to make this a huge success. We would also like to thank Bobbi and Roy Arnold from "Follow that Dream Productions" out of Cuba, N.Y., who generously provided the entertainment for all in attendance. Most of all we would like to thank all who volunteered to assist with every piece of this event, especially Julie Warren, who provided a wonderful dinner for all to enjoy. It was especially meaningful to see so many friends and family there to support us. We would also like to extend special thanks to those who made individual donations, before and after this event, which were unexpected and so much appreciated. We are grateful to be part of such a wonderful community.

Thank you again, each of you, for coming together to help us during this time of great need.
With much appreciation,
Ken and Jo Ann Belcher
