Community Kitchen fundraiser a success

The Westfield Community Kitchen Board of Directors would like to thank the community of Westfield for the wonderful support of our recent “All You Can Eat” soup supper fundraiser. A festive atmosphere, wonderful soups and desserts and good company created a fun evening for all in attendance. The new silent auction added a chance for attendees to pick up a few Christmas gifts while enjoying dinner. Special thanks go to all our local businesses who donated soups or items for the auction including Jack’s Barcelona Drive-In, Barcelona Market Café, Bark Grill Restaurant, Sapore, Westfield Main Diner, Pillowcasegrams, Crosby’s, Shawn and Rachel’s Too, Jimmy’s Pizza, Mathews Jewelers, Portage Pie, TW Biggins, Keep Tryst Farm, C.J.’s Pizza, Calarco’s, Blanche’s Goodie Garden and Grape Country Soaps. Thanks also to the many individuals and friends of the Kitchen for many hours of help and donations of soup and auction items. The Kitchen continues to serve a delicious nutritious meal to many in need from Westfield and surrounding areas. Lunch is served 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. weekdays to anyone in need of a meal. Kitchen volunteers are always needed. Call to speak to Director Beth Powers at 326-2055 or stop in at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church at 12 Elm Street in Westfield.
