Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department 01/05/12

CHAUTAUQUA — Richard A. Harrell, 50, of East Main Street in Brocton was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, no seat belt and failing to maintain traffic lane on Thursday, Dec. 29. According to the sheriff’s office, at around 5 p.m., deputies were patrolling Parcell Road in the Town of Chautauqua when they allegedly observed a single vehicle crash with a roll over. The operator, Harrell, was trapped inside the vehicle while it was overturned. With the assistance of deputies, Harrell was safely removed from the vehicle without any injuries. After an investigation, Harrell was allegedly found to have a revoked New York State driver’s license for a previous driving while intoxicated back in 2010. Harrell was charged and released with appearance tickets and scheduled to be in Chautauqua Town Court on a later date to answer the charges.
