A portion of Route 20 in the Village of Brocton was closed for about eight hours following a one-vehicle accident Friday night, Dec. 16.
Brocton and Portland fire crews responded to the scene near the intersection of Route 20 and Blood Street around 10:45 p.m. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s dispatchers stated the vehicle crashed into a pole, but no official press release was made available. It is unknown if anyone was injured in the accident. West Main Street reopened around 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17.
