WESTFIELD — Two 19-year-old youths of Clinton Street in Westfield were charged with underage possession of alcohol and unlawful possession of marijuana on Tuesday, Dec. 6.
According to the police office, at around 9:45 p.m., officers responded to Clinton Street for a suspicious situation. Upon arrival, officers spoke with two 19-year-old males. While speaking with the males, officers allegedly observed marijuana and alcohol in plain view inside the apartment. This led to charges and both males will appear in Westfield Village Court on a later date.
