Local athletes named to All-Star teams

The CCAA Division 3 girls’ volleyball first-team all-stars are Hannah Rauh, Jenna Einink and Jill Einink of Chautauqua Lake, and Ryanne Dugan and Sydney Youngberg of Forestville. Most Valuable Players are Maddie Szpaicher and Janae Hamilton of Ellicottville. On the second team are Jenny Brown and Lexi Stroebel of Chautauqua Lake, Cherish Pope and Kendra Silliman of Forestville, Courtney Scanlon of Elliottville, DeeAnna Rammelt of Westfield and Caryle Swanson of Pine Valley. Honorable mention selections are Emily Scott, Kaylee Mathews and Kayla Mansfield of Pine Valley; Jessie Meredith and Tara Hunt of Chautauqua Lake; Brianna Hunt and Lynn Wood of Westfield; Jamie Olson of Ellicottville; and Amanda O’Connor and Emily Gilman of Forestville. The sportsmanship award went to Scott of Pine Valley.





The CCAA Division 4 girls’ volleyball first-team all-stars are Christina Rauh and Taylor Lloyd of Panama, and Kaeli Einink and Lauren Eggleston of Clymer, Hannah Renaldo and Christine Blidy of North Collins, and Chelsea Dashnaw of West Valley. Most Valuable Player is Rauh. On the second team are Elle Reed of Sherman, Randi Farber of Clymer, Carly Abbate, Cora Monroy and Kaylee Sheldon of Panama; Emily Treveline of Ripley and Alyssa Cizdziel of West Valley. Honorable mention selections are Julia Palmer, Emily Crandall and Abbigale Delan of Brocton, Brianna Fisher of Ripley, Dani Reinwald of Clymer, Whitney Renaldo of North Collins, and Megan Hewlett of West Valley.

Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 girls’ soccer recently released its annual honors.

Westfield‘s Kayla Bentham and Nina Manzella were both named to the first team and Manzella also won an individual sportsmanship honor.
