She was born Dec. 3, 1951 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Larry and Betty Schohn Parks.
Karen was a member of the Mayville United Methodist Church where she previously had been the church secretary. She was also a member of the Mayville Fire Department Auxiliary.
Karen enjoyed crafting, sewing, and her grandchildren.
She is survived by three sons, Douglas (Melanie) Auge, Jr., of Syracuse;, Jeremie (Megan) Auge of Syracuse and Charlie (Mandie) Auge of Waynesburg, Pa.; three grandchildren, Emmerson Auge of Syracuse, Wyatt Auge of Waynesburg and Avery Auge of Syracuse; and her extended grandchildren, Paige, Derrick, Gavin, and Brady.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Gould, and a brother, William Parks.
A memorial service was held at 4 p.m., Sunday in the Mayville United Methodist Church. Rev. Mark Parsons officiated.
