CLYMER — A Clymer man was taken into custody Wednesday after an incident that occurred at the Clymer Central School.

The New York State Police has released more information regarding this incident.

Troopers responded to Clymer Central School, 8672 E. Main St., Clymer, for an order of protection violation on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

The suspect, Jacob T. Richard, 19, of Clymer, was allegedly caught in the girls’ restroom with the 16-year-old victim by an undisclosed witness.

As there was a valid order of protection directing Richard to avoid all contact with the 16-year-old, he was taken into custody and charged with second-degree criminal contempt. He was processed at the Jamestown barracks, arraigned in French Creek Town Court, and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail.
