WESTFIELD — Kristin Monsour, 25, of Temple Street in Fredonia was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, failure to notify Department of Motor Vehicles of address change and inadequate lights on Monday, Oct. 24.
According to police, a Westfield patrolman observed a vehicle equipment violation on East Main Street in the Village of Westfield at 10:30 p.m., and stopped Monsour. Upon further investigation, it was found that Monsour’s privileges to operate a motor vehicle in New York State were allegedly suspended. It was also found that Monsour had an alleged violation of probation warrant out of Chautauqua County. Monsour was charged and Westfield police arraigned her in Westfield Village Court where bail was set at $2,000 cash or $4,000 property. Monsour will also be held on outstanding probation warrant.
WESTFIELD — Alice E. Eichelberger, 54, of McClurg Street in Westfield was charged with petit larceny on Tuesday, Oct. 25.
According to police, at approximately 11:30 a.m., police were dispatched to Maple Street for a report of a larceny of money. During the investigation, it was determined that a jar containing approximately $80 in change was stolen. Upon further investigation, it was determined that Eichelberger allegedly entered the residence and took the money without permission. The Westfield police did recover the stolen money. Eichelberger was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Westfield Village Court on a later date to answer the charge.
