WESTFIELD — On Tuesday, Oct. 25, the Westfield Elementary School held a Red Ribbon Run. This event was held on the track as part of the school’s observance of Red Ribbon Week.
During Red Ribbon Week there were many different activities to encourage the students to say no to drugs and alcohol.
This year the run had its best turn out ever with 117 elementary students participating. Many more parents and friends filled the bleachers and lined the track. It was a great atmosphere as the crowd cheered for all the runners as they made their way around the track.
Congratulations to all of those who participated and thank you to those who helped with this event.
