Sitting on my pussy path
Pacing back and forth in front of tanks
Having juice pumped in and out
After pushing paper one by one
This is just the first week of many
That I’ll be putting in my time
Now that harvest has come again
And I’m back to what I do best
Thirteen years I’ve done my time
Wait all year to start again
To watch and treat this royal blood
That seems to keep this town alive
Lucky that I have a chance
each year to have a spot
so I can come do my part
When so many others are out of work
Of course these are just temp at best
Just for season once a year
Doesn’t make for much of a career
as it only comes but once a year
But still it jolts the pocket book
An influx of a wad of cash
Some to pay off bills I owe
And enough to buy some goods
So that’s how this season goes
Doing my part at harvest time
To process juice till crystal clear
Cause I’m the Eimco Filter Man
