RIPLEY — John G. Cruz-Hughez, 25, of Bradford, Pa., was charged Friday, Aug 26 at 9:15 p.m. with inadequate brakes and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation after he was stopped for inadequate brakes on West Main Street. A check of his license found it to be suspended. He was given tickets and will appear in the Ripley Town Court.
CHAUTAUQUA — Jay T. Stratton, 59, of Westfield, was charged Friday, Aug. 29 at 10 p.m. with speed in zone and unlawful possession of marijuana after he was stopped for speeding on Route 430. An investigation found Stratton to be in possession of marijuana and a marijuana smoking pipe. He will appear in the Chautauqua Town Court.
BROCTON — Thomas B. Millin, 48, of Fredonia, was charged Saturday, Aug. 27 at 10:30 p.m. with unsafe lane change, insufficient tail lamps and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation after he was stopped for traffic infractions on Lake Avenue. A check of Millin’s license showed it had been suspended on multiple dates. He was arraigned in the Village of Brocton Court and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail on $750 cash bail or $1,500 property bond.
