WESTFIELD — A Westfield man was arrested after an alleged violent domestic dispute.
According to the police office, on Sunday, Aug. 14 at 10:30 p.m. police responded to Route 20 in Westfield for a violent domestic in progress. Upon arrival, officers allegedly observed multiple broken items within the home, allegedly destroyed by Marcus Reed, 22, of Route 20 in Westfield. Officers did speak with the victim, who stated that her life was allegedly threatened by Reed. Officers did attempt to speak with Reed and he allegedly took off, leading Westfield Patrolmen on a foot pursuit.
Reed was caught and placed into custody by Westfield Patrolmen and was arraigned in Westfield Town Court. Bail was set at $7,500 cash and $15,000 property.
WESTFIELD — A Mayville woman was charged with driving while intoxicated.
According to the police office, on Tuesday, Aug. 16 at 1:15 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle operated by Teresa H. Spielman, 33, of East Chautauqua Street in Mayville on East Main Street in the Village of Westfield for allegedly committing multiple traffic infractions. An investigation allegedly showed her to be intoxicated.
Spielman was taken into custody and later released with uniformed traffic tickets for driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain lane, failure to signal turn and unregistered motor vehicle. She will appear in Westfield Village Court on a later date.
