Siblings graduate together, though apart

Two local siblings graduated college in the same weekend this past spring. Sister and brother, Elise and Frank Bartela, both graduated from college the second weekend in May, 2011. Elise and Frank are the children of Frank and Belinda Bartela of Brocton. They are the grandchildren of Antoinette (Caccamise) Simmons of Orchard Park and the late Jorie and Adrian Bartela of Dunkirk.

Elise graduated from Fredonia State University with a B.S. in psychology on May 14, 2011. Elise is a 2007 graduate of Brocton High School. She plans on furthering her education in psychology at SUNY Buffalo.

Frank graduated cum laude with a J.D. in law from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio, on May 15, 2011. Frank is a 2003 graduate of Brocton High School and a 2007 magna cum laude graduate of SUNY Buffalo where he majored in political science and history. Frank also took the Ohio Bar exam at the end of July.
