WESTFIELD — Here comes the circus! Kelly Miller, one of the greatest names in the international circus world, is heading for Westfield on Saturday July 23, with performances at 2 and 5:30 p.m., at the NorthLake Family Recreation Center.
Owned and produced by John Ringling North II, the energetic, two hour spectacle headlines world-class circus stars from across the globe including America’s own Titan of the Tigers, the courageous Casey McCoy in the giant steel arena, the astonishingly astute acrobatics of the Poema Family from Buenos Aires and, for the first time in America, Australia’s lovely and intrepid young aerial star Miss Kikkita, defying gravity on her soaring single trapeze.
There’s so much more including cavorting clowns, clever canines, capricious camels, prancing ponies, and of course, the biggest stars of all, the world famous Kelly Miller Circus performing elephants. High in the big top, the lovely North Starlets enchant audiences with their beauty and daring.
The Human Volcano blazes and amazes with his fantastic fountains of fire and the dancers and camels head east for a circus celebration, Bollywood style.
On circus day, July 23, the fun and excitement begins long before showtime. Beginning at 9 a.m., the public is cordially invited to join the circus family as the big top rises to the skies, aided by men, machinery and ponderous pachyderms.
The local appearance of Kelly Miller Circus is sponsored by the NorthLake Family Recreation Center. Advance tickets are now on sale at Tops in Westfield, The Paper Factory in Fredonia, Uptown Dresser in Mayville and Ripley Country Market in Ripley. Save by buying tickets in advance. The cost is $6 for children under 12 and $10 for adults. At the day of the show, prices will be $15 for adults and $7 for children.
Get ready for a big, fun-packed circus holiday for kids of all ages.
