Signs describing the routes which feature courses of 1-, 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-mile distances are located in Moore Park on Elm Street and in Welch Field at the corner of Elm and Third Streets.
This project was funded by a grant from the Steps to a Healthier New York program and the signs and maps were designed and the road markers prepared by Wendy Gollnitz-Santilli. Matt Casler worked on the placement of the road markers on the various routes. Casler attends Brockport State and is a volunteer intern with the recreation department this summer. DPW Superintendent Ed LeBarron also assisted with the acquisition of the markers and materials for their placement. Thanks to Abbie Cardy of the YWCA and to all who have been involved in making this project a reality.
