Bowen Anniversary

Robert and Norma Bowen, 9553 East Main Road, Ripley, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Robert married the former Norma Shields on July 1, 1961 at The First Presbyterian Church in Ripley. The celebration will take place at their home with a dinner hosted by their children.

The couple have four children: Cheryl Orton (Matt) who lives in North East, Pa., Sheila Bentley (Bob) who lives in Ripley; Karen Townson (Bob) who lives in South Wales, N.Y.; and Jim Bowen (Janine) who lives in Ripley. They are also the proud grandparents of Heather and Jason Orton, Greg, (Heather) Ryan, (Sara) Kyle, (Ali) Kristi, Shane and Kailyn Bentley and Peter Colbey. They also have three great-grandchildren: Elana and Hannah Bentley and Trenton Abbate.
