WESTFIELD — Two Mexican residents were turned over to border patrol for deportation.

According to police, on Monday, June 13 at 3:30 a.m., officers checked on a suspicious vehicle parked at a local store on East Main Street in the Village of Westfield. During the investigation, it was found that Armando J. Becerra, 37 and Juan O. Ibarra, 27, both of Queretaro, Mexico, allegedly entered the United States illegally, made a home in Mississippi and came to New York for work.

Both subjects were turned over to border patrol for deportation.

WESTFIELD — A Westfield man was charged with driving while intoxicated.

According to police, on Tuesday, June 14 at 2 a.m., an officer on patrol on Academy Street in the Village of Westfield allegedly observed a vehicle traveling southbound on Academy Street crossing the center yellow lines and white hazard roadway markings. Upon further investigation, vehicle operator John A. Hancock, 47, of Bliss Street in Westfield was allegedly found to be intoxicated.

Hancock was charged with DEI, failure to keep right and failure to maintain lane and will appear in Westfield Village Court on a later date to answer the charges.

WESTFIELD — An 18-year-old Westfield youth was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation.

According to police, on Tuesday, June 14 at 1:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to a 40 Academy Street lower apartment for a domestic dispute in progress. Upon arrival, the parties involved were separated. The investigation of the incident revealed that an 18-year-old Westfield youth allegedly choked a 28-year-old female victim.

The youth was arrested and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and arraigned in Westfield Village Court where Judge Thomas released him under his own recognizance. The youth will appear in Westfield Village Court on a later date to answer the charge.

WESTFIELD — A Westfield man was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail after a physical domestic dispute.

According to police, on Monday, June 20 at 7:30 a.m., officers were called to 19 Cottage Street in Westfield for a physical domestic that was occurring on the front yard. Upon arrival, police allegedly observed Marvin J. Bores, 36, of Cottage Street in Westfield in a physical altercation with a female victim in the front yard. After an investigation, it was determined Bores allegedly struck the female victim, head-butted her and restrained her movement.

Bores was arrested for second degree harassment, disorderly conduct and second degree unlawful imprisonment. He was arraigned in front of Judge Thomas who committed Bores to jail on $1,000 cash or $2,000 bail.

WESTFIELD — A Guatemalan man was turned over to border patrol for deportation.

According to police, on Monday, June 20 at 9 p.m., officers received a call in regards to a suspicious person attempting to purchase alcohol at Crosbys in the Village of Westfield. During the investigation, it was discovered Julio Hernandez, 36, of Guatemala was allegedly in the United States illegally.

Hernandez was turned over to border patrol for deportation.
