WESTFIELD — A Mayville woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
According to police, on May 28 at 2:00 a.m., a vehicle was stopped for an alleged traffic infraction on Academy Street in the Village of Westfield. While speaking with the operator of the vehicle, Lacie M. Mockus, 35, of Centrailia Hartfield Road in Mayville, it was allegedly found she was operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition.
Mockus was arrested for DWI and fail to keep right, released with citations and will appear in Westfield Village Court on a later date.
WESTFIELD — A Westfield woman was charged with harassment.
According to police, on May 29 at 5:15 a.m., an allegedly domestic incident was investigated between Leana Melnick, 29, of Pearl Street in Westfield and another female. It is alleged that Melnick struck the other female in the face and neck area.
Melnick was issued an appearance ticket for second degree harassment and will appear in Westfield Village Court on a later date.
WESTFIELD — A man was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail after he entered a residence of an acquaintance without permission and would not leave.
According to police, on May 29 just before midnight, they responded to Parker Road in the Town of Westfield for an alleged disorderly person. On arrival, it was allegedly found that Kenneth Kimmy, 41, entered a residence of an acquaintance without permission and would not leave. While in the residence, Kimmy allegedly became angry and threw a skateboard at a female and her 8-year-old daughter.
Kimmy was charged with second degree burglary, second degree reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child. Kimmy was arraigned, sent to jail on $4,000 cash or $8,000 property bail and will appear in Westfield Town Court on a later date.
