Sugar Hill Golf Course offering new company, corporate and small business season pass

WESTFIELD – Even though it’s February, the owners of Sugar Hill Golf Course want golf to be on everyone’s minds.

And, that might be easier now that the golf course has started a new company, corporate and small business season pass.

“Due to the economic crisis the past three years, many businesses struggle with reduced revenues,” Sugar Hill owners Greg and Patti DiPaolo said in a letter to business owners. “Increasingly, we must look at inventive, new ideas to attract and retain clientele. Consumers are looking for the very highest value and additional incentives before giving you their business.”

Dependent on the type of pass purchased – two or four person deals are offered – a maximum of 18 holes per person may be played daily, the letter said. For a two-person daily pass, the cost is $1,200 if paid in full by March 1, and $1,500 if paid after March 1. Meanwhile, a four-person daily pass costs $2,000 if paid in full by March 1 and $2,500 if paid after March 1.

The pass owner, the letter said, need not accompany the pass users. Proof of the pass owner’s authorization, with a valid for use date, is required and must be presented at the pro shop at each visit, according to the letter.

“A Sugar Hill Golf Course Company, Corporation and Small Business Season Pass has tremendous potential to promote business and increase revenues when used for promotions,” the DiPaolo’s letter said. “Employee incentives, entertaining clients, personal use by pass owner, family and friends or donations are also options.”

Sugar Hill has also made many improvements to its clubhouse, restaurant/bar and golf course and will be offering an Immediate Family Member Free Greens Fee. Twice a week, according to the DiPaolo’s letter, adult season pass holders may bring an immediate family member to join them golfing for free.

“The majority of our season pass holders have become friends that we very much look forward to seeing often,” the DiPaolos said. “It is our sincere desire that you choose Sugar Hill for a season pass this year. We also hope to see many new faces and encourage the return of those we miss from seasons past.”

Sugar Hill Golf Course is located at 7060 Route 5 in Westfield. The course also features a restaurant/bar. For more information, call 326-GOLF.
