Lights, Camera, Action ‘Movie Night’ Mixer Is June 18 Step out celebrity style at ‘Movie Night’ Networking Mixer at The Italian Fisherman on June 18. Members will have a chance to take a stroll down the walk of fame and be given the red carpet treatment. Now is your chance to be a photographed ‘Chamber Celebrity’ as you play the ‘Paparazzi Mania’ Networking Game. Upon arrival chamber members will receive a celebrity favorite hang out- the red carpet, a swanky night club, shopping on Rodeo Drive or road rage gone wild. Chamber members will then network to find six matching celeb hang outs to form an entourage. Once your entourage is formed, head over to the VIP section. There your entourage will be photographed while you act out your hang out and be entered to win the grand prize - courtesy of Peek’n Peak Resort & Spa including two rounds of golf with cart on the Lower Golf Course valid any Monday-Thursday! Business-Over-Bagels Session To Focus On Building Business The Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present ‘Building your Business in a Challenging Economy’. This event provides existing small business owners with access to insight and practical recommendation from the leaders of: ¯ US Buffalo Small Business Administration ¯ Small Business Development Center at Jamestown Community College ¯ State University at Fredonia Incubator Small business owners with concerns about recent economic downturn and its effect on their bottom line are invited to attend and learn about ways to market, grow and educate your small business. The session begins at 8:00 a.m. with registration and continental breakfast followed by presentation from 8:15 to 10:00 a.m. An admission fee will be charge and advance reservations are requested. Chautauqua County 2009 Travel Expo And Familiarization Tours Chautauqua County Visitors Bureau, in conjunction with Clementi Travel Services, announces the first Chautauqua County Travel Expo and familiarization tours open to the public on June 10th. The Travel Expo will be held at the Chautauqua Suites Meeting and Expo Center. This Expo showcases, attractions, accommodations and restaurants within the Chautauqua region. Those attending have the opportunity experience and learn about what makes this area an outstanding vacation choice. Optional mini tours to the world renowned Chautauqua Institution, a lake cruise aboard the historic Chautauqua Belle Steamboat or demonstration rides from the Chautauqua Marina’s Rental Pontoon Boats are all a part of the familiarization tour program. The Travel Expo is open to the public from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Mini FAM tours are from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. (pre- reservations are required). The Travel Expo and FAM is coordinated by Clementi Travel Services with assistance from the Chautauqua County Visitors Bureau. The Travel Expo will provide a wealth of information, suggested itineraries, tours and booths exhibiting the numerous events and attractions available within the Chautauqua region. In conjunction with the Travel Expo, the major sponsors will be hosting 30 Canadian Travel Industry Partners on June 8 and 9 as they experience a guided tour through the Chautauqua region. In addition, Travel agents from Erie, Cleveland, Pittsburg, Buffalo and Rochester have been invited to learn about Chautauqua County’s tourism opportunities. The FAM and Travel Expo offers Travel Industry Partners a chance to experience the variety of activities and attractions in Chautauqua County.
