The Wyoming County District Attorney's Office says John Traxler of Warsaw pleaded guilty recently to aggravated vehicular assault and assault.
Prosecutors say Traxler was drunk when he and a 19-year-old woman from Perry returned to his Warsaw apartment around 4 a.m. Aug. 11. They were headed inside when Traxler went back to the car.
The woman told him she needed to get her phone from the car, but Traxler sped away. She was run over and dragged across the street. The woman's injuries included a shattered femur and crushed pelvis.
Traxler faces up to 22 years in prison when he's sentenced July 10.
