NEW YORK (AP) — People are paying their respects to the late actor Philip Seymour Hoffman at a wake in Manhattan.
The wake Thursday night is being held at the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home, which has orchestrated the funerals for celebrities including Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and James Cagney,
Police are investigating the actor's death as a suspected drug overdose. The 46-year-old actor was found dead Sunday in his New York City apartment.
A private funeral for relatives and close friends of Hoffman is set for Friday, and a larger memorial service will be held later this month.
