NEW YORK (AP) — Police say two men have been slashed at New York City's Port Authority Bus Terminal just one block from where New Year's revelers are gathered in Times Square.
Port Authority police spokesman Joe Pentangelo says the victims were attacked in the bus terminal's main concourse shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday.
The attacker fled.
Pentangelo says the victims' injuries are not life-threatening.
The attack happened as tens of thousands of people were packed into nearby Times Square waiting to ring in 2014.
