Debris caused bus delays into NYC

November 21, 2013
Associated Press

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — The Route 495 express bus lane into New York City has reopened after workers removed debris from the road.

But Thursday morning's incident caused delays of up to an hour for New Jersey Transit bus passengers headed for the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan.

NJ Transit trains honored bus tickets and some buses were diverted to Newark Penn Station and the Secaucus rail terminal.
