Suspect sought in string of NYC subway robberies

NEW YORK (AP) — The NYPD is looking for a man wanted in a string of subway robberies.

Police say the suspect approaches his victims claiming to have a firearm with a silencer and then robs them of property.

He's struck five times in three days this week. One victim was robbed walking to the subway.

According to WABC-TV ( ), the robberies have occurred in Greenwich Village, the East Village and Fort Greene in Brooklyn.
