NYPD: Suspect abducted, raped teen

NORTH PATCHOGUE, N.Y. (AP) — The NYPD is looking for a suspect who raped a teenage girl after abducting her from a bus stop.

Police say it happened around 8 a.m. last Friday near East New York Avenue and East 95th Street in East Flatbush.

According to WABC-TV ( ), The 16-year-old girl was waiting for a bus when a car pulled up next to her. Police say the suspect exited the car from the backseat, displayed a firearm and pushed the victim inside the car where he assaulted her.

Police say the girl was then released.

Police ask anyone with information about the incident to call the Crime Stoppers hot line at 1 800-577-TIPS.
