NEW YORK (AP) — Democratic Party and Conservative Party voters have made their choices for candidates in the county executive race.
In the Democratic Party primary Tuesday, former Spring Valley Judge David Fried, also a former aide to President Bill Clinton, defeated Rockland County legislator Ilan Schoenberger.
In the Conservative Party primary, Thomas Sullivan defeated businessman Simon Leschinsky.
The winners will go on to compete in the general election Nov. 5, along with the Republican Party candidate.
