Findley Lake Christmas Bazaar

The Findley Lake Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary members will be holding their annual Christmas Craft Bazaar from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the fire hall on Main Street in Findley Lake on Saturday, November 7. A variety of crafters and bakers from the surrounding area will be selling their good. Ripley Veterans Monument Rededication

A rededication ceremony will be held at the Ripley Veterans’ Roll of Honor Monument on Main Street, Ripley.  A brief outdoor ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. to update the names of the men and women from Ripley who served in the Armed Forces.  Senator Catharine Young will be the keynote speaker at a luncheon following the ceremony.  The public is invited to attend.  The luncheon is free; however, all donations will be gratefully accepted.

Tracey Cook Benefit

There will be a benefit for Tracey (Messenger) Cook, a cancer patient, at the Findley Lake Fire Hall from 12 noon-5 p.m. on Sunday, November 8. Admission, which includes a spaghetti dinner and entertainment, is $5 adults (13 and up) and $2 children (12 and under). There will also be a bake sale, bands, 50/50 raffle and a Chinese Auction. Westfield Stray Cat Rescue Fundraiser

The Westfield Stray Cat Rescue will hold a fundraiser dinner at Tasty Acres Restaurant (outside the main gate of Chautauqua Institution on Saturday, November 7. The event runs from 5-9 p.m. and includes chicken and biscuits or meat loaf. Tickets are $8.50 for adults and $6 for children under 12. Tickets are available at the Village Veterinary Clinic or at the door.
